Week 4- Levers

This week we did an experiment with levers we used 3 different levers, two second order and one third order, and estimated what weight we would need on each end to lift the load. We only had about ten or eleven people come, but it was still loads of fun!

Science Club, week 1 – hooray!

Science Club has finally started, and it went very well. We met in Miss H’s classroom at lunchtime and did the “cornflour goo” experiment. Here is a link to the experiment: Cornflour GOO!  We had 14 people attend from Grades 5 & 6 and everyone had fun.  Looking forward to next week!
